This year, instead of having themed office trick or treating, the embassy decided to have a trunk or treat. My mom and I decided to be one of the participants who decorates the car, so we had to plan a lot of what we wanted our theme to be (each car has its own theme) and how we would pull it off. In the end, we decided to instead of having various decorations, to turn our car into a monster. We did this by using and old decoration my mom has made years before, and we stuck it onto the trunk. Kids and their families loved it and it turned out as a success.

This was planned over the month of September. We asked students from Newton College and FDR (elementary and middle school) to ask for sponsors to give them money each time they read a book over that month.
We decided it would be fun to have a Dr. Seuss theme, since most children grow up loving those books. We each baked pastries and decorated our sponsors house with Dr. Seuss inspired things. We did a lot of activities with all the children, and read to them as well. In the end we raised s./5,544! 10/2/2016 0 Comments The Final Touches-(Developing new skills & working collaboratively, show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences,
